Pokok Sena is the 12th district in Kedah, officially declared a separate district in 2009 by the Sultan of Kedah. Previously under Kota Setar’s administration, this district is named after the Pokok Sena tree and is known for its vast agricultural land, covering paddy fields (2,816 hectares), rubber plantations (9,883 hectares), orchards (416 hectares), and cocoa farms (2.5 hectares).
